Hundred Plus Club w/ Animal Sounds, Elsewise
September 9, 2022 @ 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm
About Hundred Plus Club:
We are Hundred Plus Club, an indie rock band from Buffalo, NY. Our goal is to move as many people as possible with our music, art, and stories. Our EP “Everybody’s Friend” reached #30 for “Most Added Album” on the North American College and Community (NACC). Our music has gotten the attention of many blogs and a few licensing deals such as Cliff Bar and Signal Snowboards. We have opened for some notable acts such as Finish Ticket, Brick + Mortar, The Dirty Nil, Hank and Cupcakes, Surfbort, and Algiers. We have worked with Juno award-winning producer Jon Drew at Taurus Recording in Toronto.
Our goal is to continue to make the music we love and share it with as many people as we can. Our next release (April 1) is a song titled “Everything We Know.” It is a song about coming to the realization that no matter what you feel in the moment, what matters most is how you feel about the other person. It has an indie acoustic first half and then transitions into a more rock, drum-powered outro. The song is shared below in a Soundcloud link. Along with promo photos and artwork.
About Animal Sounds:
Formed in 2015 by Shawn Brogan and former guitarist Dan Slaughter to showcase riffs and progressive song structures, Animal Sounds is a 5 Piece Alternative Rock band from Rochester, NY that is surely doing their part in reviving guitar focused music. Receiving comparisons from Cage The Elephant to Steely Dan, Animal Sounds showcases a wide variety of genres including Neo Psychedelic, Garage Rock, Funk, and Indie. The blend of guitar dexterity with emotional vocals will leave you “in the feels” with a sweat soaked T-shirt.
Elsewise is a self-recorded, genre-blending group based out of Rochester, NY. Forming in May of 2020, Elsewise is the story of today’s chaotic world, created through the band’s eclectic, unique sound. Elsewise captures a multitude of moods in their music, from euphoria to impending doom.
