WBER depends on fundraising and underwriting to meet its fiscal responsibilities. Through our underwriting program and fundraising events like this one, we hope to raise enough money to keep WBER on the airwaves so we can continue to provide the best in alternative music to listeners all around the world. We also fulfill an important role in the community as a training ground for Rochester area high school students.Participants get real life on air and behind the scenes experience in the radio industry right here at WBER.
